I have not posted in a long time, I have been a busy boy, buying new toys, getting things done around the house, and helping allot of my friends with things of there's. I have managed to hunt a few times in the last few weeks sometimes finding stuff allot of times finding garbage and trash. Today I was hunting with Oldjerseygirl in this field.

She didn't find much and I squeaked out a bunch of flat buttons. That Deus is great in fields! Here are the buttons

Lots of digging, being busy keeps one out trouble, and getting new toys is the reward.

HEY THERE TREBLE HOOK , YOU SURE GOT A NICE BUNCH OF FINDS ....

glad to hear from you....thought you might be stuck in a lake.

Congrats on scoring in both fields. :occasion14: Looks like you had 2 beautiful days in the fields.

Good finds Brad,
Buy the look of them buttons thats a old field. Some old coppers or spanish should turn up..

Nice finds brad, buttons are just as good if not better than coins in my opinion, good stuff!

You really found a great assortment of buttons Brad! Glad to see you got out hunting some lately. Great silver and relics.

I see at least 2 Tombacs. Those are some old buttons Brad. I have never found that many in one hunt. I would be pumped. A SLQ, Merc and other good stuff on your other hunt...looks GOOD!

Great time out and some fine treasures!!

Excellent hunt,
Congrats on the silver and buttons.
Nice pictures

Looking at your finds I am thinking you're just scratching the surface and more goodies are waiting to be found.

Thanks

It was cool, I basically was in a 20 X 30 yard corner of the field and kept finding those buttons. I have to go back today, so many fields, so little time, ha lol

Thanks Tom
I went back yesterday, found two more buttons. The property had been hit very hard over the years, there are some old foundations on the property. The nephew came out and checked me out (he didn't know we were going to be there) he said he detects. He asked why I was doing the field? I told him because it was right next to a house that dates back to the early 1700's. Then I showed him the buttons.

I still can't believe I didn't come up with at least one coin.
It's a big field, once I get done a hot spot/iron patch its always hard to find another hot spot. My area the hardest part is finding where others have not cherrypicked, and the farmers don't turn fields like they used to. They keep tilling them instead.
Thanks pirate!
