field site gives up old skelton key,and more

went back to my favorite field site and found a very nice old skelton key im sure its the original to the house that was bult there in the 1800s got my first silver liberty standing quarter cant see the date but its silver,found a variety of wheats and one ih penny,also found this old pumpkin thing looks and feels like lead also found what looks like a key for a clock,,two buttons one says big ben the other looks like deer or something.thanks for looking,, 000_1588.webp000_1590.webp000_1586.webp000_1585.webp000_1584.webp000_1582.webp000_1575.webp000_1572.webp000_1570.webp000_1569.webp

I have found a lot of keys digging. I always wonder to myself how mad or upset people were when they lost those keys. I call them my P.O.'d finds

Nice! really like finding keys. especially skeletons. One of my son's finds on his first hunt was a skeleton key. He was pumped.

Your standing liberty is probably 1917 thru 1924. It has the 3 stars on back so cannot be 1916, and the raised date on the coins prior to 1925 caused the date to wear off much faster.
