Good job! I know what you were dealing with because that really rough field I hunted recently,

The grass was 5 to 6 inches thick at times and I still found the bracelet about 3 inches below the ground. I was impressed!
About the falsing when you touched the snow? I suspect it was the different temperature more than the wet causing that.
