Yep,, yesterday was a break from the high temps and humidity as well as the thunderstorms we have been plagued with. Although it was overcast, I decided to get to a beach that I have had my eye on for some time. When I got there, I noticed that the tide was just starting to go out. I wanted to get as deep as possible. On the low tide at this beach you can walk out 200 to 300 feet from the high water mark. It has been my experience that the heavier coins and targets will be found further out.
The water was rough and although this is a bay beach, quite a few waves splashed over my shoulders. There was a slight constant wind. I still managed to have a good hunt. My very first target was a nice stainless steel ring. It was followed by an abundance of targets and although I got pushed around a little, I enjoyed the day. It was so good to get out. I'll give this beach another week and hit it again at Low Tide.
