Hi all. I havent been hunting much due to time, weather but most importantly lack of good sites. Managed to get out to the old courthouse this afternoon even though it has not produced much in over a year or so. Found the 1825 LC amongst the iron and a surprise 1857 FE in a part of the site that I think is fill dirt where Ive never found anything old before.

Love the old coins. Congrats.

Congrats on the LC and FE nice job. The rain has been crazy.

Congrats! Hope that 1856 FE pops out next for ya.

That FE is really nice, the reverse is really good. You never see that wreath so clearly.

Well done Toasted!

Sweet old coppers, congratulations! :occasion14:

Inflation? Those pennies sure shrunk in 1856. The gov't must have been smiling. Gary

Nice coppers, especially the flying eagle!

Nice old copper. Congratulations!

You got the one coin I dream of finding the LARGE CENT. Congratulations

Truth, let me know if you ever plan on being in or near central Ohio anytime, I'll get you over top all the Largies you can stuff in your pouch! I've got one old farm that always produces them without fail. Ddf.

Nice!! I’d kill for those cents, well, maybe not kill, but a wicked Indian sunburn for sure!!!

Some excellent finds here; I'd take any single one on a hunt, and you got the pair. Great job! :icon_thumright:

Very nice! Makes it that much more rewarding to find them in spots you've hammered too. The FE is definitely on my list of never finding. Congrats to ya

Nice to see you got out and sweet digs. I always appreciate a good Flying eagle

Congrats on the old coppers Toasted.

Great finds. Flying eagle cent is still on my list. That's the thing about fill dirt... where did IT come from? I hunt spoils piles from utilities and new construction all the time. Sometimes it's rewarding sometimes not.
