I hit a local park on my lunch break and they were doing some grading so had nice clean dirt to check. This 45 merc was almost on the surface. Also found this copper tag with numbers 62? On it. Not sure what it is but kinda neat. Hopefully they don't finish the project soon. And I have my weekend spot to dig every signal

Silver for lunch is nice.
The other object looks like a tool tag

silver is always nice

Nice digs, could also be a tree tag, I have found lots of them, the park system keeps track of the trees with number tags. most are aluminum, brass, and copper.

Nice find! Thanks for sharing...

Thanks guys. It's been tough to find anything but clad lately. I have been doing hours of research on the old maps. But nothing has been paying off

If just some quick silver will take the edge off then just try driving into an old part of town and kindly ask a couple of homeowners on properties that don't look like they've been landscaped or got sod or anything.

It just takes a little silver! It's a detectorist's gasoline.

Nice work!!
