Finally an address to return the WWII dogtag and a pic of Soldier

The excited messages had suddenly quit, no idea why and can only assume they had their reasons, life happens. But just minutes ago, we were contacted with the address and the pic of James. they apologized for the time lapse but assured us that they would send pics of the son with the tags. I know and understand that sometimes more important things pop up that require your full attention. Just glad to be sending them tomorrow. was totally surprised to hear from them again. now they will be with the family by this weekend. gotta love this hobby. Jerry and Betty

you stop and think about it, somebody out of the blue contacts you and claims that they have something important to them from a deceased relative. sounds like a scam or a rip off. we assure them that we want nothing but a pic if possible and to get what is part of their heritage back to them. on top of that, this is a state that they never knew that this person had been to. we send pics of the tags etc and even pics of the other tags to convince them but when they finally see that we are for real, they get very excited. Just super exciting for us and helps to justify our detecting. The sheer amount of joy brought to a family is crazy worth it.
