It's been a long winter and work has been so busy that I have not been able to get out and dig. But on this beautiful day I was able to spend about two hours digging at the ink hole granted I had to completely dig out my hole since it collapsed over the winter. But I still managed to pull out a very crude pontiled phial. I have know idea how these very thin bottles survive in this rocky dump. But hell it's pontiled I'll take it. I also recovered a shard of what I think was a Washington Taylor flask In a beautiful citron color I have a feeling it came from the Coventry glass house. Thanks for looking I have a feeling it's going to be a good year.- Justin

Awesome glass you got there. I always keep the killer shards in hopes of finding the rest. Funny how you get these survivors amongst all the debris of breaks.

Dang, beautiful phial!

Thank you villagenut. Maybe one day I'll find a complete historical flask. But I too always take the interesting shards I display them in a shadow box .

Good score Justin. I believe you are correct on the flask. That would have been a nice one whole. I hope this year is really good for the ink hole. Wishing you success

Much thanks Bass. With all the historical flask shards there has to be a whole one somewhere.
