Due to work obligations and some important family affairs it has been a while since I posted. But I'm finally back out on the hunt! First hunts I got on video where I returned to a small town park where I found my oldest seated dime on previous hunt. Went back with the 6 inch coil and was not disappointed! Found 2 silver dimes and some other coins. Check out the video for more details and live digs!
Then I hit another small park while visiting the inlaws with my father in law. He has been hunting this park for last couple of years with AT pro and has never found silver. I had a 38-39 rock solid signal about 10 minutes in. Searching an old ballfield area of park. I had my father in law check the target with his AT pro and he barely got a squeek or blip on at pro at full sensitivity. (Maybe a defective machine??) I dug down about 6-8 inches and found my best spill yet! A barber half and barber dime! Didn't realize it was a spill at first but after rechecking the hole I found the dime and both coins had a clear stained spot where they were stuck together. Found the second barber dime about 2 feet from the 2 coin spill. Naturally I didn't have the go pro with me this hunt so I got no video footage. I did snap pics in the field at least.
