FINALLY, BETTY BLING BLING FINDS GOLD! BIG HONKING 10K NECKLACE!

After never finding anything but bling and clad, she finally got on the board! This morning was pretty darn good for me, 3 rings (another post) and she was finding the usual pull tabs, foil and pencil erasers so it was a little depressing for her. Then, just a little bit before we had over heated and would quit, she sat upright from her digging and yelled excitedly to me "I THINK I HAVE A GOLD CHAIN!" So I hurry over to her, coaching her to be careful and not break it as she fumbled nervously with it. it was obviously stretched out in the ground and she had to carefully dig it on up and it just kept coming! She kept saying, it's probably just another fake one since we have already had our share of them and then finally she held the whole thing up to show me as she searched for any writing. It said 10 K but we have been down that road before so we put it away until I could test it later and sure enough, it was 10 K, it weighs 10.7 g and is 21 inches long! in one swift move, she has exceeded my gold and was strutting around the house saying "WHO'S YOUR MOMMA? WHO'S YOUR MOMMA?" the one pic has a small sampling of what she had been digging... so see, there is hope and this has solidified her as a metal detectorist! Yep, she ready to go back now and even earlier to beat the heat. I have created a monster!
