If your employer told you that you had to walk around in the hot sun for 4 hours, dig holes and replace the dirt, and he would pay you a couple bucks for the day. What would you do? ;)

I'm gaining a bit of respect for fishy's nose. That lil piece might be silver. LOL

"If there's wheats, there's silver?"

So, if there's no wheats, there's no silver, right? ;)

WRONG!!! This is the 1st silver "coin" I've found in two months! :)

Then, look at the classic drive that showed up!

A good day! (and all because of one dime and a car. LOL )

Thanks for peeking!

ha my son has a modern version of that jag laying around somewhere, pretty cool find!

Nice barber and I really like the car . As to your question about the boss and the job digging holes for pennies , I cant put my reply to said boss on this fine family forum page.:laughing7:

Hey, I'd go through a 2 month drought to find a Barber! Nice little car!

Thanks.

The earring is plated, so, I kinda doubt it being silver. :)

Yeah I am pretty happy it went back that far, I would've settled for a '64 Roosie! Adding to my treasure chest, one coin at a time. :)

Yeah, the car is in pretty nice condition considering the age. A pleasant surprise.

Dang what an awesome coin to break your slump with

Congrats!!, was it deep?

Actually, no, It was only about 3 inches down in a wide open field. Just happened to walk over it I guess. :)

Neat! Thanks for sharing...

You mentioned a field. Is this a new site? Hope it is so you can get some new scenery.

Well if your detector breaks you can take fishy with you he seems to be a real treasure finding fish!
I see Blingie laid claim to it already! He's happy!

Nice finds! That matchbox car was actually made in England unlike the ones today!
The dime is awesome detail is great! Congrats!

I'm still in a slump but hopeful because I know what's out there! Lol!

I fell off the grid again (no Internet service) so I'm parked at a Dunkin Donuts. Using their free WiFi.
Lol! Murphy!!!!!!! I'll get you for this! And of course Banner finds pop up all over the place!
I'm surprised you didn't haul in a chest full of gold while I'm stuck in the void.
I'll be here floating around someplace looking for free WiFi!

Nice barber... congrats on breaking the slump.
