Last 6 trips out and no gold was getting pretty old. Today was not looking a whole lot better until I pulled out a 14K wedding band 3.6 grams. Not a show stopper, but it was good to see some real gold in the scoop again.
Actually it came up in the scoop on end and at first I thought it was just going to be another teaser hoop earring and I was almost scared to pull it out of the bottom of the scoop because I just knew that the side still in the sand had a ear clasp on it. Much to my delight it was a band.
Plucked the Stainless ring about an hour later and also got my fair share of junk earrings, but when I got home I took a closer look at this one and it was marked CZ .925 china, I see Steve found the mate to it.
