Sorry, no updated pics, but I didn't bring my camera for this trip.
I was told there was gold in this creek but that it was hard to find and only in a few pockets.
I've worked it a couple of times and have never found even a flake.
I got a tip from a camper who said that he heard some guys that went in illegally at night to one spot and worked a dredge. He said he heard them whooping and hollering.
I decided to try the spot and ended up doing some of my own whooping and hollering...
My first pan had color so I worked about 10 buckets of material through my homemade sluice and there was quite a bit in there... Still haven't done final clean out but I will defiantely be going back there...
