I've been trying to find my first round bottom for to long.Found more then my share of almost bottles and way to many busted bottles.Alot of close calls but today was the day.
It started yesterday when I found a promising new area.I found the area late in the day and found some keepers then returned again today to make sure I covered it all. After checking that first area I moved on and found a second better spot.
I found some good bottles and with all the good possibilities I left to get my boy to return again. After returning we found some more bottles then I spotted exposed glass.
After clearing the leaves away for a better look I spot a second bottle.
After carefully digging the first bottle out it was just another close call. With fingers crossed I slowly slid the second bottle out and finally had a full intact round bottom.
It didn't end with my first round bottom. After a few other finds Stacy finds not one but,two more round bottoms.Only fitting after Stacy's mishap back in the Spring after he found his first round bottom, then ended up busting it while walking out.
His first for the day, this is just how he found it.
His second for the day,he had to sweat this one out.
All 3 for the day.
Awesome day!!
One of the other bottles we found was a Thomas M Reese-Huile D Olive-Baltimore,Md.
