I went to a new site, it was an old school football field that currently is used as a soccer field and neighborhood park. I heard a strange moving tone, clipped from high to low. I dug it, and the gold ring popped out at me! It is 14k. I also found a sterling silver bracelet and ring, and $7 in clad quarters. The gold ring rang up 57 on the VDI. I usually don't dig those strange signals, but you bet I will be from now on!

WoW! Congrats on your Golden Ticket, and cool Silver!!:hello2::headbang::skullflag:

Congrats on those great rings!

Thank you, Terry! I was so pumped, I detected for 3.5 hours straight without a break!

Thanks Jeff!

Congrats on your finds! I found my first gold ring recently too, but had to return it.:tongue3:

Some nice finds. Congrats.

Why did you have to return it, Dan? Was it a lost ring you were trying to find for someone?

Yes! and they were very happy to get it back, it was a family heirloom.

Congrats on the nice gold ring and silver. Those strange signals have been some of the best finds I've made. Think out of the box

Welcome to the gold club. Some of my best finds have been iffy signals. Digging the iffys you will dig more trash, but also more treasure. Good luck and keep swingin.

Congrats on your first gold! It's all over now....kiss your social life goodbye. Pirates don't have social lives. Thanks for sharing!

Hi, How is Denver? I was stationed at Lowry AFB for three months of Tech school in Apr. of 1978. It amazed me how flat the ground was and then you just ran into a huge wall of mountains! Excellent finds also :hello: Paul:coffee2:

Soooo true! On the weekends, I would rather detect out in the fresh air than anything else! My friends think I am a big nerd. It is incredibly relaxing and exciting at the same time. ARRRGGGH, MATEY!

I LOVE it, Paul! Been here six months now. We didn't get a fall this year, but four snowstorms instead..

Gold and silver don't get better then that congrats....:icon_thumright:

Finding Gold comes with an addiction, best you just move to the beach and live like a pirate!

That's what im talking about. Congratulations. Nice ring and Cha- Ching.:icon_thumright:

Congrats on your first gold R and B. Start digging all of those pulltab or iffy signals to get the gold. You will dig a lot more garbage, but you will find some nice gold every now and then also.
