This is literally my 2nd time out this year. Through a variety of lame non-medical excuses, I just haven't made it out. With the temps dropping and an unexpected new permission, I ran out to do about 200 Lesche lunges. It was a fantastic day. I can't even remember where I went this spring and a few items are from that trip. The new permission was a recent house tearout not far from downtown. A really worn V nickel, 1951 local dog license, local bank token, some sort of railroad button, clock key, and variety of ammunition related finds were the highlights. Also have a couple of what's it's in the stack to post in another forum category.

Headstamps were some interesting finds 1910's Peters, Winchester Repeater, and Winchester Repeater shotshells. Pistol/rifle include a Peters 25-20 Marlin case (pretty bad shape), some sort of WCF case, a live Frankford Arsenal pistol round (marked 10 16 whatever that means), fired 30 caliber bullet.

The bank token is really interesting, offering a bonus 50 Cents if you deposit $3 for 6 months (4% interest to boot). It looks like it's not in the token catalog, so one more thing to do today.

I'm not quite sure what they were doing with the spoon handle. The pattern's on the inside and the way it's bent it would cover two fingers. Way too small for a bracelet. Marked Avon Silver Plate.

Happy hunting!

Great bunch of finds- Congrats!

Thanks! I love finding local history. I wish I was getting 4% at the bank today!

Just found out that 45 Auto round I found was made in Oct 1916. 106 years this month and in really good shape!

Nice bunch of saves, congrats!
Indeed, your .45acp is from Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia and manufactured in October of 1916.
