Congrats on breaking the slump..nice looking Rosie! Ddf

finally counts as a new beginning, glad you found the silver

That "aluminum" holed item would have had me going for awhile. Anything on the backside of it? Nice score on the Rosie, wheat, and old iron.

Congrats on the silver and other finds

Just basically the negative impression of what is on front. It is an interesting piece.
I do not have many old coins to see what they were trying to copy. Liberty, Merc, flowing hair.....OR just trying to create a "what if this person was honored with a coin" type of look. I am puzzled on this one.

The AX reference sheet is awesome thank you VPNAVY.
This is my first AX and I have been waiting to dig one.
Looks to me a "Boys Ax" "Hatchets, with their short heads and handles, are used in the building trades, and for camping and hunting."
It was found at an old Girl Scout camp so that would make sense.

Congratulations on the silver.
The aluminum holed coin is a decoration. They were used for costume charm bracelets and numerous other items like old pill boxes, bathing caps, etc.
Congrats on your finds.
