Been on a heck of a dry spell when it comes to adding glass, lots of Paterson stoneware lately, but no bottles. So I was very happy to add this great Peter Wenzel(backwards Z) pony with original stopper. Wenzel or Wentzel, depending on which year directory you're looking at, is first listed as a "brewer" in the 1884-86 directories, before becoming a "saloon owner" in 1887, and his last year in the Paterson directory is 1888, and he is listed as an "agent", and then just like Keyser Söze, POOF, he's gone...

Nice bottle finds. Congrats

That sure is a hometown bottle to be proud of.

Good looking bottles.

Like the color. Nice show piece.Congrats

Love to see those new addition glass models. Maybe Wenzel just “limped” away.

Great strikes too. Very nice. Jgas
