After alot of searching this year, got a solid roll of roosevelt silver dimes today - first solid roll in way more than 10 years.

up to this point 2019 has been tough - I posted about this on Jan 18th.

YTD totals:

Dimes:
Had searched $1,335 of dimes to find the first silver.
Until today, searched $4,075: $1.60 of silvers (3 merc, 12 FDR, 1 1945 can) and a 1987S impaired proof. Silver hit rate was 0.39%.
After today, searched $4,145: $5.60 silvers: hit rate is .159%.
I don't search boxes, and I am getting close to not even searching MWR because I have gotten nothing in those.

Pennies: $324.50 searched: $1.56 wheat, and 4 can George VI (incl one 1938) - wheat % is about .50%
Nickels: $416 searched: 1 buffalo from 1918 that was nic-a-dated. No war nickels. 2 1938P.
Halves: $243.50: 3 40%s, 1 Ben, and $2.50 in NIFC. All 40% were from teller trays and the Ben was in a roll.
Recently been getting someone's dump halves at a number of banks. I searched one box in January and got skunked and keeping with my long-standing practice, I will not box search again.

Thank you.

I want to make a correction to my initial post: The % of dimes prior to today was 0.039% (I originally put .39%). After the solid roll it was .159%.

I also went back to the bank this morning and got more dimes - same teller - got nothing

After all my years of dime searches, I have yet to find a solid roll of silvers from CWR's. Congrats on your find.
