Hunted a couple of parks the other day, many targets, some trash, some clad and then a very nice sound from the detector. Found these two mercury dimes in the same plug. 1943 and 1940. I also found a few wheat pennies dating 1914 (no mint mark, dang) and a 1957. Its all good. :hello2: Enjoy

Very nice condition on the Mercs. Congrats!

Sweet haul, love them mercs! !!

Nice Merc's. You can't get them much better than that

Beautiful mercury dimes. If you make a little paste with baking soda and water, put some on your thumb and index finger you can lightly rub the silver coins between your fingers and they shine up quite nicely.

Congrats! To bad the 1914 wheatie didn't have a d mint mark, but at least you got some awesome looking mercs.

awesome digs, the mercs look great

Congrats those are some really nice looking silver! You'll get the mint marked one next time!

If you ever see a post from me talking about "liver" I meant silver! Happens all the time...touch screen is grouchy!

I never use baking soda anymore on silver, congrats on the two in one Merc hole!
