My first 1800's coin. Whoohooo!!!! I am not sure on the buckle though?

Welcome to the "1800's Club", we've been waiting for you. Nice job on the IH. It's a beauty.
An IH was how broke into the "1800's Club" also. It was an 1874 with a beautiful green patina right up next to a huge Oak. Mine was dented like it had been shot though. Yours is awesome!

Welcome to the 1800's club! My first was a 1891 V-nickel, I remember that feeling of breaking the century mark! Nice Indian head you got there! Now go for the 1700s!

Nice IH there for your first 1800's coin - mine happened to be a shield nickel (1869) I'm still looking for an IH !

That's awesome. I went on my first hunt weekend before last and found a 1891 IH Penny on my first outing!
