Hit several 1800’s home sites today and while searching the second site of the day I came up with a 38 on the NOX. I start digging not expecting much and pulled out this 1oz Silver Bar. Still shocked at this odd find, but thrilled to have saved it.
Produced in 1973 so this states.
Congratulations on the bar.

What a great find ! Seeing that bar come out of the ground had to make your heart jump a little ! I know it would have for me.
I was pretty much speechless for 15-20 minutes.

That's a very exciting find I'm sure you'll never forget!
It's finds like that that make this hobby such a rush. You just never know what's going to pop next, congrats!

You should check the digital newspaper archives around Father’s Day that year and see if there is any mention of the mother load silver bar.
