From my "experience" a mask like that will either do nothing to stop infection or the hassle of wearing it will cause more problems than the actual infection.

Cats not declawed and knew I was coming back half sick from a dig (bad tooth), and puked in my bed. Could wear cat puke! Yes, that was gross. Using Jim Beam to rub on my sore gums. I don't drink. This miniature will last YEARS!
