Hi guys, haven't been detecting for a month as my Excalibur died on me and i had to send it back to Minelab for repairs.
Took them a month as they said they were swamped with repairs,geez i wouldn't have said that makes you think if you made the right purchase or not.
Anyways picked it up from the post office last night and this morning at 5.30 am went to one of my favourite beaches and found it was already packed out with swimmers and joggers, doesn't anyone go to work anymore? for me it was to crowded so i went to another beach.
Perfect conditions, about 30 people there and spread out so it was comfortable,unfortunatly the finds were not the best.
$8.60 well that almost paid for the fuel there,1 silver ring,1 silver plated necklace,1 cheap bangle,1 cheap pendent and a few sinkers that will come in handy for when i go fishing.
