It's hard to believe that almost 3 years have past since I've searched a box of halves. This past winter I decided to give it another try but all of my old supply banks have changed policy and "can't order halves." Whenever I'm in a bank I always ask for them and usually hear "Sorry,none" or "Somebody just bought them."
Today while cashing a check the teller said she had $7 worth of halves. Of course I said I'd take them and as she counted them out all I could see was the shine of silver. Ended up with 13, 1-67,4-68 and 8-69. Happy dance. This more silver than I found in the last 32 boxes that I had searched.
The thrill is not gone!
