A great weather day with no expectations is how it started. I had been working like a maniac 6 days a week for over a year and finally had a minute to get a dig in being that I am on a 5 day schedule for now). Mainly just to get out for fresh air, sunshine and exercise(maybe a bottle or two of course). To smell that familiar smell of the hobby as I chopped into the mysterious burnt history of America. It was when I least expected and my guard was down when lightning struck. My shovel squeaked by the shoulder and I carefully freed the find. An 1840’s open pontil New York City horse med. the thought of just how much material I had moved previously in life to have found it puts it all in perspective. Have a look! That's a killer! Best new bottle find I've seen posted here in a while. Love the embossing. I know that had to make a long week worthwhile. I'd like to see more pictures of it cleaned up when you get a chance, and thanks for sharing that with us.

That’s just bad to the Bone!!!! Awesome find. Hope there are plenty more where that came from. Congrats. Jgas.
