some people never under stand us , we live alone even if we have people around us . we search and research around the clock it dose not matter what time of night or day it is .. we search the mass for the rare and some times we find it ... this token will be professionally cleaned , one web site has one rated 94 out of 100 this one should rated between 98-100% in (almost uncirculated - uncirculated ..condition ...

to make sure that we under stand the 94 % is the rarity of the token . not the grade ..there's had some ware and scratches on the face of the token . this one dose not .. and has been in a silver pitcher its whole life ... never circulated .. it was given to friend waiting for a bus . she put the token I a silver pitch and that's where it remained till to night ..

Nice token! Where was this establishment located?

she never said where she was when she got it , but she moved to Hawaii for 15 years and then lived here for over 50 years . back then they took a bus or train to calf. then took a plane ..one thing you all should think about is the copper coin is cheaper but some times more rare because of it metal erosion factors.. these were handed out near the door way and near a bus stop where she waiting for a bus . they would hand them out to get people to come in and play slots ., at that time slots were 1 cent . so I don't know when it was made but that's as small as coin as they had back then I guess ... penny slot did not stay around long ...

Interesting.....it looks like a modern arcade token to me. :dontknow:

I would guess no older than 1980.

I found out it was made around 1964 it funny because the MGM lion is on the token but he was not called Leo yet .. he doesn't because Leo till he is lost in the superstition mountains .. yes a Lion was lost in the supers ...do a search on you tube .. there is a great story about it ...

Looks like a very common arcade token. Post it to Idahotokens, he is the expert on tokens.

What are you smoking? This is a modern casino video-arcade token from the 1980s. "Rarity" does not equal value, even if the scale you reference has any true meaning.

sorry the retail value has nothing to do with the collectable value of the rarity .https://en.numista.com/ ..this is who rated the rarity at 94%....

if you saw a penny gaming slot in 1980 ...where? ... I never did ... lol ...the company changed its name to MGM , the token pre dates that name change .
