Finds at 2 Old Home Sites

[cambria09]

Hello All. Dug two small town homes sites c.19-teens and got a wide variety of items including misc hardware, ammo, Wheaties, Ford parts, RFD lock, and one real nice Great Seal cuff or collar button.

No silver but not bad...Btoots got a 1990 V nickel at one site.

Sure is hot out there but the rains have arrived to cool things down a bit.

Thanks for the view and good luck. C9

Nice hunt! I wonder if the RFD is fire department related ?

Nice variety of finds! Congrats! Great detail on the button. The watch back isn't silver?
Good mount of brass.

Hello digging440yrs. Thanks for the reply. The RFD stands for "Rural Free Delivery" a government postal program began in the 1890's to deliver the mail into remote areas. See link. I have several of these but this is my firs "ACME" brand. Good luck. C9
