Yes, the year is half over. Covid and my knees kept me out of the wilds for a lot this year. Some stuff is missing. I do not count clad as finds. I did find a Merc or two and a couple large cents, but don't have a pic of the merc. I did not do any parks. I only hunted three spots seriously.

Here's a recap: IMG_1475.webpIMG_1365.webpIMG_1360.webpIMG_1378.webpIMG_1576.webpIMG_1639.webpIMG_1657.webpIMG_1763.webpIMG_1766.webpIMG_1767.webpIMG_1768.webpIMG_1770.webpIMG_1771.webpIMG_1778.webpIMG_1779.webpIMG_1774.webpIMG_1791.webpIMG_1787.webpIMG_1813.webpIMG_1819.webpIMG_1823.webpIMG_1827.webpIMG_1834.webpIMG_1842.webpIMG_1844.webpIMG_1865.webpIMG_1870.webpIMG_1871.webpIMG_1844.webpIMG_1431.webpIMG_1377.webp

Nice points! I especially like the white one! You have done well for the first half.

Very cool assortment of finds, Smokey
Pretty heavy in Native American artifacts. Thanks for posting them all.

Thanks. Some pics are missing. I'm trying to get the bills paid this am. Paid the property taxes for the two properties. Bye bye money!

Nice variety of finds Smokey. I like those Indian Artifacts.

What is the rectangular piece shown in group six with the buttons? I have a few and never knew what they go to .

A lot of cool stuff there...congrats!

Good going Smokey! What are the red bead-looking-things in the middle of the seventh row?

Ticndig, that is a Civil War belt keeper for a union belt. Noah D. those are contact period Indian trade beads. A rariety for me to find.

Awesome year so far, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Truth is I haven’t been out much. I just have s few good sites.

That last pic with the coins says it all for me. I really envy you. I'm a coin guy living where there are few coins. I guess I need to travel to find some. Hope the next half of the year is just as good for you! Gary

ToddsPoint, most of those cons were found within 15' of each other. Probably a big spill. I do a lot of traveling to hunt.

Lots of great finds, congrats! I’ve been out once.

That is a nice group of images Smokey. Really nice variety. Congrats and best of success in the second half.

Thanks and that's interesting.
When I saw the item with the 4 triangular tabs I thought it had to do with wood (Minds out of the gutter please:laughing7:) since this technique is used for pressure plates for roof trusses. Just lots more tabs.

Fistfulladirt, I have been out numerous times. I found a nice CW horseshoe (time frame) in my back lawn in the front lawn of a 19th century house. I actually own part of their front lawn. It's pretty bad when you do you own lawn again.

That Clovis point!! Holy Moly!!

That'd be a good decade find for me. Congrats.

I haven't been out in weeks now. Not since Scrambles got sick. Now my one Lily cat is very ill. It's too hot, too many bees and too many snakes.

Horribly hot. I went out this morning in full sun, 67 degrees. In an hour I was wet, gimme 45 degree temps and I’m comfortable. I can’t wait!
