Holy cow !!!!

Southern Florida Finds? Hendry or Collier County maybe? Need some type of story to go with such a great photo.

Can’t say where, but these are just most of my finds within the past 5 months or so. Third Seminole War fort in southern Florida. Finding my first 2 plates was the most amazing experience I’ve had Metal Detecting. Lots of bucket lister too.

You know a young digger is in the game when he knows to keep them percussion caps and know they are good relics.Good job

Wasn't asking for GPS coordinates.

Isn't it amazing how well Florida's soil preserves relics and coins? Great finds.

:dontknow:Lived and detected in FL for 7 years, the two Seminole Fort locations I know of DO NOT allow metal detecting.

I would venture to say that the locations of many Seminole fort sites are located on private property and have no actual visible evidence of a fort ever being there in the first place, since they weren't really built to last any significant period of time.

Wow oh wow great finds, percussion caps, campaign buttons, buckles, seated coins, draped bust etc. Big congratulations.
