Mornin Foundurstuff,
Those are some very nice finds and the B-17 is a beauty. It looks like it was a pin or possibly a tie tack. I have a tie tack of a swept wing aircraft of a much newer vintage but to me your B-17 find is a very special Bird.

Howdy Foundurstuff, those are some nice finds; especially that B-17.
I lived in Yuma, AZ off and on during the seventies & early eighties.
I was stationed at MCAS Yuma from 1973 - 1977. I was back with my
wife visiting her family in July, 2007. Tuscon, Phoenix and Yuma. Couldn't
believe how big Yuma has grown. I'd like to get back there someday during
the winter months and do some detecting. Ok, I'll shut up for now.
