Got out yesterday to a well known mill site that's been hammered to death by detectorists over the years. Just wanted to see if the D2 could pull anything that others missed.
Interestingly enough, my very first target was the sash buckle from about 14 inches down. It was with all kinds of iron and nails but I clearly heard it.
Also got a live .32 Colt round and some whatzits. I find gold balls almost every time I go out, no matter the setting, even out in the middle of the forests. :dontknow:
Does anybody recognize the fitting with the spring in it?

Congratulations on your achievement
Nice work and best of luck with the D2

Maybe a seal missing the sealing material.

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

Thats a very nice Buckle

This looks farm equipment to me, the spring bends when twisting and applies pressure to keep in place.

My friend, I told you, someone will always leave something for us. I really like the buckle. Well done.
