finds from the farm with the new x-terra 705

I traded the old mxt for a garrett earlier in the month and really didnt enjoy it at all the weight and wasnt impressed so I sold it and decided to try out a minelab x-terra 705 so I baught ,it came in yesterday and last night I was in the yard playing with all the neat buttons and settings . So at first light this morning I went to the trusty old farm and thought id see how quick I could master the new machine .Looking like a newby out there with the manual "ha ha" but I figered it out in about 10 minutes and off I went to all the places I had gone with my mxt just to test the theory of new technology . And the end result I am impressed to say the least . My first find of the day was this kind of neat looking long shaped flat button never found one like that before ,then found half of a large flat button measuring 1 1/2 inches and then found a sword hanger and another flat button and then the .69 cal three ringer all in about 4 hours of swinging and some other items . So I have to say thumbs up to minelabe great machine ... and I got to run the machine at 29 on sensitivity and the depth was awesome and loved the pinpointed .....awesome is all I can say ....

Nice hunt! I think that is a knapsack hook, not a sword hanger. The oval button looks like a cuff link. The Minelabs are awesome machines, not sure if I will get the 705 or the Xterra when I upgrade but I'm still happy with the X70. HH, Mike

the xterras are GREAT machine, lightweight and super to use, if you want to get deep silver and coppers think about getting the 9" 3kHz coil, I got one and my silver finds started increasing like crazy
