Finds from the Soccer Field & the Tot Lot

I hit a tot lot up north early this morning before the kids arrived and found the Mickey Mouse necklace. It's stamped "DISNEY" on the back, but it's not silver. I also found the leather bracelet with the funny looking faces on it . . . it's unusual if anything. This afternoon after work I headed further east to a soccer field / playground, this is where I found the rest of the stuff.

There was a baseball diamond here years ago and now it's just an open field, except for where they've put in the soccer field. I found a couple of square nails and a very old three tyne fork here back in the spring, so I thought it might hold some potential for older finds.

I was a little surprised when I found a fishing lure in the grass though! I guess someone was practicing their casting technique! Total in coins was $2.26.

Duh, *must look at poster's location in future*!!! [Need a facepalm smiley] No, I was referring to our Boy Scouts here stateside. There's also a motorcycle reference to BSA, my husband gets it a lot when wearing belt buckles in public without the uniform.

We call it a square knot here in Girl Scouts, tho it goes by both. Cool, learned something new today!!
