I think its a stirrup of some kind. made of brass. anyone know the age on it and the lock? the lock is brass also. have no idea on the lion pin but it was about 8" deep.

Hello there fellow Tejon user! Yes that is a stirrup, and your brass lock is circa 1910. Cool finds!
 
any idea on the make of the lock? I cant find any markings on it
