Hi All,

my Dad Ray and I went out to a local school yard today and we found some clad n stuff I think the one coin I found is a yen I am not sure, we had fun!! and a total pic of what I found since Christmas I am a new to metal detecting, and I am hooked ;D 26 Pennies, 6 Dimes, 4 quarters, 1 nickle, 1 gas station token, keys, .22 Bullet and a Yen I think.

Thought you were talking about Ukiah, Oregon at first ... then saw where you are from. There are several Ukiahs in the United States.

Do you know where the name Ukiah comes from? It's haiku spelled backwards. A haiku is a Japanese poem form. So it's entirely fitting that you found a Japanese coin there.
