This is from Sunday when I went out hunting with Miguel.
An old dump seems to be a tough place to learn a new machine, but every time out I get a little more confident with the Deus II.
The spur was actually an eyeball find by Miguel. It's got the tiniest rowel I've ever seen!

A couple of rimfire cases, a Chinese cash coin, some buttons, a 14k gold piece from jewelry or something, and a brass lockplate escutcheon with keyhole cover.

Buddy, that spur cleaned up really well. You had some great finds too.

That spur is a showcase entry.
Well done on the 14K piece.

What's the fat looking shark tooth looking item?

When you said you were heading to the dump-I thought that should prove interesting since you just got the machine.
It seems that you will take on a challenge. 😁

Thanks!
That shark tooth shaped thing is a porcelain foot or shoe. Not sure why I kept it. :dontknow:
Oh yeah, I'm up for the challenge! That's why I bought the D2, for hunting those super difficult sites.

Thanks for the reply

After you get to know it better you can start to really appreciate its ability to sniff out the finds in these challenging sites.
I would of probably picked that up also.
