Met up with fellow tnet member beezly on sat and did some digging. Tried to check out an old rail station in the area, but the land was so altered we didn't find much there. Only thing I really found is what I think to be a large lead bail seal. We then headed to an 1800's house where we ended up having much better luck. I found a bunch of wheaties, silver washington, buff nick and a war nick. Also found an old cap gun, barrel in the front yard then the rest was in the back yard. Theres two items I am not sure on. The little button like thing with a 15 on it, has a point not a shank and is made of lead. Then the toothed brass thing has me wondering as well. Any ideas? Beezly stole the day with the two best finds in my mind, which i'm sure he will post soon. 20170515_103259_resized.webp20170515_103316_resized.webp20170515_103323_resized.webp20170515_103329_resized.webp20170515_103425_resized.webp20170515_103432_resized.webp

The toothed brass piece is part of a antique curry comb for brushing horses.

I've found a bunch of them at various sites and only just figured it out last week!
