Finds in the Park

Sunday afternoon finds...
Got out for a short hunt in my favorite park late this afternoon. Excellent weather for detecting. Two indians, a flat button (very thin), a marble and a no-date buffalo nickel, which I was thinking would be a V since it was just a foot from the '03 Indian.

Those are some real nice digs.. a lot better then my morning hunt!

Thanks. The Indians sounded like that's what they'd be. Each was deep and I had to get more dirt out of the bottom of each hole just to get the pinpointer to sound. As more soil was removed, the pp indicated a small, discrete target. The Indian was the "payoff".

Hunting older parks are one of my favorite type of sites.

Digger27, you've had some good finds, too, this year. This park is among the older ones in Baltimore. In most places, trash is not so bad.
