Here are my finds from the last two weeks. If you know what something is or I need correcting, please do so :)

Pic #1-scrapers, broken points, All have been worked. Is the large beige item a graver? Has a shape point. Believe I also have a small brown chisel.

Pic #2,3, & 4-odd & end tools, scrapers

Pic #5, 6, & 7-oddities; ball is round but both ends have a patina, a hammer stone? The piece next to it, petrified wood? Very cool looking! Also the large black piece on the bottom, it is very light in weight. Doesn't appear to be man made material. The two pieces bottom right, rough surface cause by heating? The bottom left piece, natural fractures or man made? Top right, just a cool rock :)

The piece in the third photo, top, center looks like a heart-breaker of a point or large knife. And the piece to it's right looks like a nice graver or curved knife. Otherwise, it looks like you are in a good area. :icon_thumright:

What part of north middle TN are you from I am also from north middle TN around the Red Boiling Springs area

I have a friend who lives in RBS. We also had dinner several times in an old hotel? Think it burned down several years ago. I'm from Springfield, but actually closer to Adairville, KY. My husband & I ride in Westmoreland all the time (Long C Trails).

The bottom piece looks like petrified wood. Nice knives and scrapers. And that does look like a heart breaker knife. imho

I know a lot of people in RBS I went to school there I think your talking about the Donoho hotel it burnt back in the 20s or 30s and they rebuilt. I know exactly were Long C Trails is I have cut timber all around that area

All good finds.. theres a nice whole one there somewhere. Just keep your head down....:laughing7:.

And some really nice material as well. Look to be in a good productive area. I enjoy that Tn hornstone and banded flint. Purdy stuff.

That hammer stone is a nice one. Looks like you have been in my spot again! The difference is yours is better quality. Same color of flint I find and allot of the same design type of tools. Fast and dirty
