MD at an old home place the other day where i have had much luck! First find here was an indian head penny! So i thought i would go back and i swept the ground around a place i found several chunks of glass! My detector went crazy and i dug up what i thought was an emty old bucket when 22 of these old electric insulators poured out! Ive done a little reasearch and they some times go for $10 a peice!

Hey keep trying youll find one one day! I thought i was never gonna find a coin! This is my first one ever and ive metal detected for years! Try hunting in a area were people would have had coins out to pay for something!

Oh I kick coins all the time. I just haven't found any old ones, except a couple a wheats.

I cant believe that people buy those. On one of my first houses there were some of those between my house and garage and there was bare wire on them. I have seen lots of those over the years on the ground.
