Fire and Ice

I went back to where I got the 1861 British half penny yesterday and most of the ground was frozen worse than yesterday. Found a slope that I could dig into and managed to find this nice fire ranger badge. I don't know much about it but one I found online similar but different words was 1890-1920 but I have no idea. The back says "Barnard" so maybe that's the manufacturer. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

I left the back a bit damp with water so the maker name would be clear to see for the picture. I was happy digging that out for sure! [emoji2][emoji106]

Thanks. I was thinking of sending a picture to them. I actually drive sometimes that way for work. It drives me crazy driving by the super old spots down there!

That's the Acadia area isn't it? You just know there would have been goods buried when they cleared them off the land.
