fire starter

i posted some stuff in the "what is it". they syggested i post this fire starter to see if i can get a better id from you guys.
will just post this itm so as not to dilute the post, but any info and input would be cool.
we have come to the conclusion it is made from copper and pyrite, there is odd fine gold collered hairs on the back side.

I would like to add that it hasnt been proven to be a fire starter. It was found by hmmm on the Pacific Northwest Coast. I hope someone can help.

I read your other post hmmmm. It will help everyone here to know a little more about where you found the item. The pictures are great by the way. I am thinking you said it came from a possible trade area and an arowhead was found near this item?.

I also read the other post and dont want to say any opinions to influence thinking but I dont think any arrowheads were found in the area.

we did find what looked like arrow heads, the problem is they are made of lead.
