firefighting helo

My son was at his girlfriends parents place over the weekend. They live in the mountains here in Northern Cal. and had a fire near their place. It's called the "Bail" or "Bale" fire. My son got this pic of a helo dipping water from their pond to fight the fire with. Thought it was a nice shot.

thats a great shot ,I'm a retired Smoke Jumper an that Bucket of water can be a life saver .......lol or a nightmare if you get caught under it an get hit with a fish. lol long story dont ask .

Thanks for the nice comments. Yeah Kentucky, it's gorgeous where they live. Her folks are retired and make a living raising veggies, fruit and berries and selling them at the farmer's market every weekend. It's at high altitude up there so the products ripen considerably later than the valley farmer's do so there is a good demand for their foodstuffs, especially the mountain-grown berries.
