First 1800's coin and Big Silver for 2015!

Invited Tinman68 out today to my good modern silver spot today. As we are going along I noticed a large area that was just recently cleared of all underbrush. Must of found 20 modern silvers around that area befor brush removal.. Hmmm... That's the type of area I like. So we get over there I pull my first 1964 Kennedy half. Then about 2 hours later and 30 yards over from my half Tinman finds a 63 Franklin half. He went on to find 3 silver washingtons and a silver Rosie but that's his post. My only silver was the half, still stoked! Yes and a few weeks back I hit one of my corn field sites and pulled my first 1800's coin for 2015 a 1865 IH! Happy hunting all! I apoligize for the poor pics still working on that.

I cleaned this spot out with a few good post on Tnet. Tinman68 is killing me with modern silver. We are at 1865 so far for 2015. What can be found in the Midwest.

1964 Kennedy half dollars do not seem to get dug up very often at all - much less so than Franklins or Walkers - Nice !
