Hi everyone!! Got out early yesterday morning to beat the heat. Ground here is rock hard so it's just woodchip tot lots. I hit 3 of 'em yesterday and found my first 18k gold!! Too bad only the post was real (rest was plated and the stones were fake). At least I got a little $ for it at the scrapper today. Also found a '56 wheatie and one of those "no cash value" arcade tokens. Clad totaled $10.68 (including OVER 100 MEM CENTS!!!), over $10 of which came from the same tot lot that yielded the 18k earring.
UPDATE: Found a nice 18k white gold earring in the dirt right where I parked my car today!! It was super light and had a "channel" in it, but I still scored a little $ from the scrapper for it, and got free Cubs tickets from the owner for being "one of his best customers"
