First 2 weeks MDing

Here is a pic of my first 2 weeks MDing finds that I kept. Nothing special atleast not like some of the great finds I have seen posted by some other new MDers, however am getting confortable with my detector and learning it. Guess thats all that matters for now. Not shown in Pic is $2.43 in clad and 6 pieces of copper pipe.

Sorry about pic clarity. Going to have to take pics in day outside or get better lighting in here. Camera is probably just ashamed ATM after seeing many of you guys posts.

We all had to start somewhere! Last year was my first year and it took me a month to find my first wheat penny and only found 4 for the whole year and no silver at all. This year I am up to 214 wheats and have found 40 silver coins as well! Just keep on hunting and the results will come

I love finding toy cars,so those are nice little keepers in my book. You have to learn the machine first and that's just what you are doing. Now you have to look for old places to detect to find the silver coins. Good luck and happy hunting.

I don't really expect too many old finds here until winter/spring when the foilage retreats some and I can check the old homesteads I have found swallowed by time, and mother nature.

Each trip is getting better, and It's becoming much easier to cover larger amounts of ground and get items out of ground with smaller holes.

Too bad its so dang hot all over the place right now eh?
