Fifties circus grounds, DD, max sense, zero scrim pro mode, iron audio off. Found tonight, about an hour, twelve wheats, a flyer clad dime, some trash and a crisp 44 merc. Pinpoints nice in center of coil, all these coins were in the plug, or were so deep I had to take another deeper plug. Only had to use my light a couple times. I passed up a few deep signals that were mid range, perhaps nickels. This is the 29th silver out of this spot in just about as many hours. I am close to 200 wheats from this spot. This machine I have no complaints about in the depth department, these were found in 5+ inches of muddy loam with 2 to 4 inches of thick dead grass clumps on top, so we are well into the 8 to 10 inch range. It's pretty deep. I found many of these in the same area I hit hard with cz and M6. I baking soda'd the hell out of the merc, it was too toasted for my liking. I would not do this with a valuable coin. ATPro is all thumbs up with me.

One thing to watch for, the buttons, especially the pp button, if pushed just right, will "hang up" in the pushed position if you press it to the side a bit. If you think something is amiss, check for a hung up pushbutton.

Gleaner,
I am still waiting on my AT Pro to come back from Garrett. I also had some problems with the PP button. I hope they check that out while they have it. Maybe I should call to see how long before I see it back.

From my experience, the turnaround is good, I would not bother calling. They are all over it. Now, what about my little winged liberty, my first silver? n3tuf, any comments? Come on man, tell me it's smashing. Do it.

Another thing to note.........no iron on this hunt. Probably never will be.

The crusty deep acid rain corroded cents at 5 to 7 inches sounded like coins, and I knew they were coins. I cannot comment on the silver, other than it was the last coin I found, and it sounded like the 12 wheats I had dug earlier, high pitch, faint volume. A bit of quick waggling brings em up nice. The pp "kicks down" beautifully with a couple pushes, the targets gave the faintest hum right at dead center. This area is fairly free of trash so I take the liberty at running at 8. A few times I had to run the digger over the coil to see if it was still breathing. Very stable. Pickins are slimming down at this spot but I hope to post a couple more out of here. Regards to all.........

I was going to go out tonight, its warm but its raining. Oh I forgot, its waterproof.

awesome silver gleaner, i have a feeling you'll be pullin more outa that area that your other machines missed :headbang:

That is a fine Winged Liberty you got there. It looks like it wasn't in circulation too long before it was lost. I'm still waiting on my first ATPro silver . . . I've had it since 11:30 am today! How long is it gonna take?!?

Gleaner,
That Merc looks uncirculated! How long did you put it in baking soda? Do you mix it in water?
