Vino, you have been on fire! That is a beautiful Barber. Old coppers are so hard to find in decent shape, but fun nonetheless. Looking forward to your next finds.:icon_thumright:

My gosh man, that Barber fell off the mint truck and into that hole. If you have have a 1796 half cent then you're a lucky man. Congrats!

I can see the date better now its a 1795 half cent...not worth as much...especially in this shape...

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

The condition of your barber half is amazing... Congratulations!

Super nice barber, congratulations.

Very nice first day with your CTX 30 30 I bet your dying to get over to the one church to see if you might be able to sniff something hiding in that iron over there. Haaaaa , might be some more of those LC's that come out of that ground over there in such nice shape. I showed the pic that you sent me to my nephew from Oregon, he had never seen any old coins before (hes 26) he said, "wow uncle Brad, that baby is so crisp" Your luck and research skills have been very nice to you coming up on your first year of metal detecting. Think about it, if that half looked so good to some kid that has not viewed many old coins, how "that baby" looks to all of us! The area where you live is so rich in history, eventually I'll be spending allot of money in gas knocking on doors on the other side of the river. So weird, seems like every single house down here where I'm at on the other side of the river has over the last 40 years have been pounded. I'll find one one of these days. Congrats on your finds, I look forward to your future, its almost as nice as finding it myself (not) I'm glad you saved them.
