First big find this year! Trade Axe or tomahawk

Hi All! ?New? to the forum. Was here years ago but got out of the hobby for a while and recently just got an ace at max. Went to a nice little spot last weekend that I went to years ago.

The site was the location of an old garrison that was attacked by Indians in the late 17th century. First hit got me a harmonica reed. The next got me a nice little trade axe or tomahawk! Rough shape but still an awesome find. Found this at about 12? deep. Got it cleaned up rather well and just coated it in bees wax last night.

Just thought I?d share! Pretty stoked about this find. Hopefully more to come!

Here?s the other side. Again, rough shape but it is a 350 year old piece of iron right along the ocean coast.
